The Northport Boys Volleyball team open the season with a 3-0.  They cruised 25-12 in the first game, but the second and third games were much close, both ending 25-20.  Zack Zdrojeski had 18 kills in the three games, plus 3 services aces and John Dwyer (11 digs) , Jake Zarko (7 kills, 2 blocks) and Aiden Flynn (12 digs, 4 blocks) were active on defense, thwarting the Marauder offense repeatedly.  Joe Haubrich, who had 30 digs, managed the game well, setting up his teammates deftly throughout the match. Will Fitzpatrick also contributed 34 assists, which is 45.3% of Northport’s total points.

The Tigers travel to Smithtown East for a multi-team tournament on Saturday Morning Sept 4. The first match for Northport will be at 10:00 AM vs. Eastport South Manor
